Silver Birch Tree Sculpture

I want to bring nature inside, for example into strict office environments. Inspired by the forest of my native Sweden, My Silver Birch Trees combine the long, elegantly slim and organic shape of the Silver Birch with a contemporary stark graphic design aesthetic. The trunk is free blown glass with cuts through overlay. The black branches are free blown and laying on supporting wood squares
(60 x 60cm). The trees are between 140-170 cm high. 2006-07 RCA
